Placing a Bid

Once you are logged in to the auction system, select an auction you are invited to attend; you won’t be allowed to enter an auction until it has begun. The auction leaderboard and the form to place a bid will be shown.

When placing a bid in the bidding widget, enter the custom amount in the “New Bid:” field, or click one of the increase shortcuts to adjust the bid amount. Click the green "Place Bid" button to submit the bid; a popup will ask you to confirm your bid amount, click “OK” to confirm the bid submission, or click “Cancel” to abort the bid submission.

Leaderboard position determines the order in which people are contacted to make a booth(s) selection. The leaderboard will display how likely you are to secure a booth. Use the guide below to determine your target position:

  • Position #1 - If reserving a specific booth is important to you, target the top position. The top position gets first choice during booth selection.
  • Guaranteed Placements - Positions which are indicated as "Guaranteed" mean that anybody that finishes in these positions will be guaranteed a booth as well as the option of purchasing a double booth.
  • Potential Placements - It is somewhat likely that you will secure a booth, but if those in positions above elect to reserve double booths, booths may not be available once your name is reached.
  • Unlikely Placements - It is unlikely that those within these positions will be able to secure a booth. Booths will likely only be available if everybody above declines the option to purchase double booths.

Tying bids will not be accepted by our system. The system will display an error when placing a tying bid. We encourage bidders to place your bid amount such does not match an existing bid.

Double Booths

After the close of an auction tier. Successful bidders will have the option of purchasing two booths for double the bid; please account for this when bidding. If you require a double-booth, the final cost will be double your bid.

End of Auction

All auction times displayed are in Pacific Standard Time. Any bids placed past the auction end time will be rejected. The current time is displayed in the top-right corner of the website. At the end of the auction, the top bidder will have first choice of booth placement, and will have the option of selecting a double-booth for double the bid.

After the top bidder chooses a booth(s), the process will continue with the second highest bidder choosing a booth(s), and so on until all booth spaces are filled within the tier.

Payment

All bids are final and a non-refundable deposit of $720 CAD per booth is required to be paid immediately post auction; our team will be in touch with you to arrange this. This deposit will be applied to the outstanding bid balance. Full payment must be received within 14 days post auction or the location will be forfeited and offered to another bidder.

Returning Vendors in good standing, will make their final payment by June 14th. Full payment must be received by 4:00 pm PST June 14th or the location will be forfeited and offered to another bidder.

Frequently Asked Questions

Because each successful bidder has the option to purchase a double booth, you will need to adjust your bid to place you within the top 50% of the number of booths available.

Example: If there are 12 booths available in Tier One, only the top 6 bidders are guaranteed a booth selection. Bidder 7 and below will only receive a booth if any of the bidders placed above 7th place decline the option to purchase a double-booth. Bidders 13 and below will not be contacted to select a booth within that tier.

Please note: All tieing bids will be rejected by the auction system.

Example: if the minimum bid in the auction is $1000 and min bid increase is $100, if there are bids placed at $1000, $1100, $1200, $1300, $1400, $1500, the only bid that can be placed is $1600 or more (as we do not allow placing a bid value that has already been placed).

All bids are final and may not be changed or retracted; a bid placed in the auction is a legal obligation.
